Ah, Broomball

The lake that we live on finally got enough ice to make a broomball rink. My brother and I shoveled off a rink, and with the help of a few friends, we flooded it by cutting a hole in the ice and using 5 gallon pails of water twice. We ended up with some nice, slick ice that was perfect for broomball. The only thing we are lacking is snow for our banks. We had tiny banks, and spent a good deal of time chasing the ball. But, it was all good - we were playing broomball again.
