The winner of the Gmail invite goes to...
Brandon Walsh with comment number 1. Brandon, your Gmail invite is on the way.
Thanks for all who left comments. I'll definitly be keeping the suggestions I received in mind, and hope to impliment some of them soon. Please, by all means continue to leave feedback in the comments for that post.

In my opinion Dr. Niket gave a more convincing request when he demanded to be the winner. Anyhow, how random was the random selection process, or did it contain slight bias.
That letter is in the post; hopefully customs won't intercept the package.
"Anyhow, how random was the random selection process"
The comment numbers were written on a piece of paper and one was drawn from a hat.
Sounds random enough to me :p I really hope you choose to implement different categories.
And i really wanted "[email protected]"
What I'm interested to know is, how exactly did you get the Gmail invite in the first place?
Thanks Robert. Some people, who ought to find another profession, just don't return the favor.
:-)
Lavalamp,
Some elitist, who believe themselves to be at a higher plane, cast a condescending deliverance on the slithering masses. The latest innovation in this classism is provided by Gmail.
Oh wait a minute. I have a gmail. I am on a higher plane. So, grovel dear peasants and I may throw a gmail your way. :-)
[Blame on poor english lies with the online thesaurus, not me.]
Seriously, I have 2 gmail invites. One is coming lavalamp's way (d_s_h2 at hotmail.com).
Hey thanks man.
I've just registered so that I can use it on here. :D (Note to Ryan: Get some emoticons.)
I had to go through the torture of picking out a username again, you'd think there'd be loads available, but every permutation of my name seemed to be taken.
I have a username though now, and it has @gmail.com at the end of it, so I thank you again kind sir.
Emoticons really don't have a place on blogs...
I agree totally with Scott. I hate it when blogs use emoticons. Hate it.
What are you talking about??? Emoticons can make even the crappest of blogs absolutely AMAZING. Observe - http://www28.brinkster.com/probes/comment.asp?blog=20 (warning, contains excessive and unneccesary swearing, remove link if you disapprove Ryan).
Yeah, the design sucks I know, but we're working on it.
Who needs emotions when you can mimic Charles Howard by text alone, hallelujah!
I am now in the process of bolting my door just in case he visits me.
If you have any more invites, can I have one please?
